Help please, chicken with single swollen wattle with large black spot

Found this on my 18ish week old hen this morning. One wattle is swollen with a large black area on the tip of it. The other has a small black spot on the tip. She did not have this last night at bedtime. Looks burned almost or like frost bite. I'm in southeast Georgia, but it's hot and humid here, so no frostbite. It's bothering her you can tell, but otherwise she seems fine. Hasn't been sick, is eating and drinking fine, active. Breaking my heart, she's one of my favorites.

My guess is a sting or spider bite. Have you checked to make sure there are not stick tight fleas or ticks embedded?

I suspected a bite of some sort also at first, but it's on the tips of both wattles.
I will try to look to see if anything is embedded.

What can I put on it or give her?

If she were mine, I would simply monitor the situation. Judging from your pictures she is fine right now.

Thank you! Would you put anything on the blackened area? I have a couple different wound/skin care sprays: MicrocynAH and BluKote

I have never experienced anything like that so I'm interested to see what others say. Good luck...

Maybe try something like triple antibiotic ointment on it. Again good luck...

I too would just monitor it.
It may be from a bite or sting.
Possible that will turn necrotic and dry up depending on what happened.
