Help! Please I’m Beging

I am not sure what your comment means about THEM knowing you removed a sick bird. Are you talking about the birds knowing it or other people? If the birds know you did it they do not associate that loss with you. They just miss that one for day or so then go about the business of living. It is the process of us chasing birds to get the one we want that makes them scared of us. Not the removing one of the flock. If you are worried about them freezing they have lived since the beginning of time outside in the heat and cold. Ducks can handle freezing water and rain. Their legs and feathers are designed to withstand the very cold water they stand and sit in for days, no matter the temp of water. Ever heard the term... water off a ducks back? Ducks have waterproof feathers. Chickens do not. A quick coop would be an Igloo doghouse with a 10ft x 10ft chainl ink fence around it. Look on craigslist in your area. People understand removing a sick bird from the flock and selling them should not be an issue. I hope this info helps.
