Help please incubator trouble

Hi all i am new to the site and chickens in general and found the site really helpful. I recently bought a second hand oldish brinsea 100 egg incubator.. ive been at it over 24 hours and have it on the lowest tempature setting but its still at 44 degress celcius im not sure if im doing it wrong or can anybody help me thanks

That is running high! Are you using a separate thermometer to check the temp or are you using one on the display? I'd check it against a separate one you know to be accurate if you're using the display - Brinseas are usually pretty accurate but it never hurts to be sure. A picture of it would also help so we could identify the model.

Hello @pyxis thanks for your reply. I have 3 different thermometers in the incubator and they all are reading reasonablly accurate. I will attach pictures of the incubator.

They do have at least 2 year warranties on them so it might be worth contacting Brinsea and letting them know what's going on - and they may also be able to tell you how it would be fixed if it's out from under warranty and can't be replaced or fixed by them.
