No, don't worry....we will maintain our vigilance. If I had to guess, I think there is a 50/50 shot that she's pregnant...but with those odds, we still need to be alert. I've gathered supplies (and getting a few more things) just in case.

My biggest fear IS missing it - then so much of our efforts will have been for nothing.

I know nothing about goats and their pregnancies but I'd assume that they you have contractions when they are close to birth. Is there any way you could just rub her tummy or hold it to see if she is having contractions?

To me (keep in mind I know NOTHING about goats) that discharge could be her starting to lose her mucous plug.

LOL I'm just guessing that all mammals pretty much have the same side effects from birthing.

If that is the mucus plug it could be up to 1 more month. I have gotten to the point with my goat now to look at the udder before I feel it you can tell much more subtle changed that way. THe you can look, the reason I say feel first it not to put it into your mind that you SEE a change. Good luck I wish you were closer I have 2 Positive does that will be leaving here after their kiddings. The may be going to a university for research.

PLease be warned my last doe to kid was out eating acting fine, I just had a hinky feeling so decided to spend some time with her went in and got a couple of pops and a book went back out within 15 minutes she crawled up so she was laying againist my lap and proceeded to start pushing ( I had been watching her for 2 moths no blaring signs that she was getting ready to kid large udder but not tight could feel the ligaments before I went into house and not a peep out of her until the head was 1/2 way out. You can pull blood and send into biotracking for 7.50 plus shipping you will know for sure that she is or is not.

Status quo, today...no real changes...but watching - just in case!

Whe we get to the weekend, I'll post new pics for comparison....but I still think it's 50/50.
