Help me!! I have 5 babies and 4 adult fuccles and everytime I feed any of them the gag like they are gonna throw up.the babies get food stuck in their throat and I hsve to get it out.please help!!! Im considering quitting the chicken game because of this.help me please

What are you feeding them? If dry feed, maybe they would prefer it ground down finer. & moistened a bit.. Little chicks should get chick starter. Laying hens would get layer feed, which has calcium for egg shell development.

Baby chicks and roosters should not be fed Layer feeds - the calcium can ruin their kidneys. I don't really know any other way to advise you. I've never come across a situation like yours on BYC,

What exactly do you feed them? Sounds like they will choke to death if they continue trying to eat it. They must be very hungry.

Ok first the babies get non medicated starter and the adults get layena.imixed it with water and made a soup and they love it
