Help please

Just got home, took it out to check it, it is definitely dead, took it out of the shell, seemed normal except the yolk want fully absorbed and the wings were smaller than the other chicks and head was not in right spot for pipping. Lots of fluid in the egg. No smell.

Humidity for hatch was 74 percent. Temp 99.5. Forced air incubator.

I had better luck with the eggs that I incubated from the start, versus the eggs the hen sat on and that I took from her cuz she had way too many. This is day 29. Should I help the last chick any or see if it progresses?

How long ago did it internally pip?

Also, what date did your hen start sitting on the eggs? And what was the temperature in your incubator?

It internally Pipped sometime this morning. The hen started sitting on her eggs on the morning of October 26th or possibly the night before. Temp in the incubator has been 99.6 degrees.

You could do a small safety hole in the air cell if you wanted. I agree, it sounds like another hen was adding eggs to the broody's nest and that's why this one is hatching so late.

You can see how to do a safety hole in this article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/guide-to-assisted-hatching-for-all-poultry.72886/

I read a lot when I had a broody hen. There were many people that said they had incubater eggs from day one hatch on way late days like 30+. Never loose hope as long as there are signs of life.
