I’m on day 16 of incubating my coturnix quail. My power went out in storm for 25 minutes. My temp dropped to 83 degrees for 25 minutes. I now have it back to normal with generator. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

They'll be fine, 25 minutes shouldn't make any difference.

From my experience, though I've never hatched quail eggs, They should be fine. I had a batch of eggs in my incubator, and the power went out for about 3 hours. We put them by the fireplace, and they were fine. 25 mins shouldn't be fatal. I wish you luck with your hatch!

Tomorrow is day 17 when they are supposed to hatch. So we will see if it had any impact.

There's no chance a 25 minute temp drop that minor is going to affect a full term chick. Good luck with your hatch!
