I have 2 chicks that were hatched at school. One has an obvious case of splayed legs. I wrapped her legs together and she at least doesn't flip over now. Another one had gone almost 30 hours try to hatch so as a last resort I helped her out (on Sunday). She cannot walk and seems to just be flat and scuttles around with her head down. I tried to tape her feet flat on pieces of cardboard but they just fall off. I am having to feed and water them by hand. The flat one hasn't accepted a bite of feed yet. I gave her water, egg yolk, and honey and electrolytes

the first 24 hours and now just egg yolk with water separately. I don't know what else to do for her.

I would make sure they are getting vitamins including riboflavin for leg health. Is the chick with splayed legs walking and getting around with the leg hobble? There can be other leg issues than splayed legs, so it is good to rule out slipped tendon and others. The chick who won’t get up will probably not make it, but you can try to get some nutrition into it. Chick slings may be helpful. Here is a link for slings:

I like this link for splayed leg treatment:
