Help please

My hen about a year old is sick not sure what's causing it or what I can do to help she goes into seems like a coughing fit so I picked her up she's a Brahma pls help any ideas what it is or how to help her thanks

What's her crop feel like? Doughy? Squishy? Hard? What's her diet? Is it hot there?

Does the chicken sound like it is wheezing as it breathes?
Is it breathing with it's mouth open even when sitting?
Are you sure it is coughing instead of sneezing?

Yes she coughs sounds like a goose honking when she tries to eat it seems I was able to feed her vitamins ok with a dropper yesterday but she has lost weight and I noticed that white looking bumps in her mouth have appeared also this has been going on for a week now and seems to be worsening I'm worried because I lost my rooster recently I'm worried about my whole flock now getting sick this is hard to figure out for me any help I appreciate

Crop is squishy and empty ish and she has no feathers on her crop which is different from normal

is drinking water and the fits go on about a minute sounds like a honk 3 or 4 times then she stops and has mouth open to breathe yes its hot here but this started before the heat hit and she was still breathing with mouth open and her voice changed

You mention you see white bumps inside the beak. Any pictures of that?
Is there a bad rotten odor?
Is there a sour/yeasty odor?

Crop is squishy.

Sour Crop comes to mind but seeing white bumps, it may be Canker. It's really a good idea to try to determine which you are dealing with, so you can start in the right direction with treatment.

If everything is quiet do you hear any gurgling from time to time?

Is she jerking her head/neck occasionally like a zombie in 28 days later?

These are signs of sour crop in advanced stages, ive recently learned.


That and a huge crop that's super squishy (full of liquid and gas).
