Help! Please!!

It’s possible your hens might be a bit shocky from a heavy worm load if you’ve dewormed the whole flock…

@Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive @azygous how likely or common is it a chicken could have a Herxheimer reaction?

If it’s heat shock, you will want to get them out of the heat, try to cool them down (not too fast) and keep up with fluids/electrolytes.
Yes I dewormed the entire flock. I am giving them electrolytes and fluids. Im pretty sure its from heat

Dribble a little on the top of the beak.
Be very careful with this, you do not want to get liquid in her nares (nostrils) as she could inhale it causing pneumonia. Safer to use your finger or a Qtip to place a drop on the crease where upper and lower beaks meet, and let her swallow. If she shakes her head, stop, she's had enough.

Good caution :thumbsup

Yep, thats what I do. Thanks though!

They both seem better. Peaches is way more alert, Snooze is better at drinking from the spoon and Peaches probably had 50 live meal worms today, so lucky her. They are all sleeping now, I kept the two inside for the night to monitor and still give electrolytes and water. Crossing my fingers and praying super hard this never happens again and they will both be fine tomorrow.

I recently just treated my hen, peaches multiple times for egg bound and I dewormed her after finding worms in her poo. Now, she is sick again
Get the Calcium into her once daily, like you normally do for her.

Work on hydration. Get her drinking.

Lots of white urates in the poop along with green. She's needs hydrated. Electrolytes for 1/2 a day followed by plain water for the other 1/2. Do this for 3 days.

She's had problems with eggs before; how many times does this make?

Got it. This would be the 3rd time. The other 2 she layed the egg a day after the epsom bath I gave her.

Peaches, the first hen is egg bound (I know this because she is straining and standing like a penguin.) I so badly want to give her an epsom bath, but I am worried that because she is so tired, that might not be the best choice as she is going to get even sleepier.. Thoughts???
