Help! Please!!

So glad to hear about Peaches! But I’m sad to hear about Snooze. It’s good she laid an egg.

It will usually take multiple rounds of crop massaging and coconut oil to get the crop to empty. Usually you will see it decrease day by day. How does it feel? Can you feel anything in there blocking things up?
I have probably massaged her crop 5 times already. I think it got slightly smaller but not sure.. It kind of feels hard but mushy at the same time. How do I feel if something is blocking things? I try and push her to walk to get her muscles to stretch.

Anything hard and big enough to block the crop from emptying, that’s what you’d feel for. Since she’s been under your supervision inside most of the day past few days, I would think she wouldn’t have eaten anything to clog things up, but it’s always possible.

There is this theory; if she has been suffering from an overload of worms, they may be clogging things up since dying off. Again I can’t say for sure this is what is going on, but just an idea, give this post a read (#27 by @azygous); https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/%CA%80ᴇ%EA%9C%B1%E1%B4%8F%CA%9F%E1%B4%A0ᴇᴅ-hen-suddenly-falling-asleep-while-standing-droopy-tail-𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵-𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦-𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘮-𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘨𝘦.1628022/page-3

Do you see any worms hiding in her poop? You may want to try conservatively treating her crop (as you have been this morning) before jumping to the treatment in that thread.

Important to keep up with the sugar water/electrolytes to get her through this.

If the worms are clogging stuff up, how do we fix that? It feels like she is at the worst point that Peaches was at before she got better. She isn't laying down anymore she is just standing up and sleeping, so I guess that's better.

No, I don't see any worms hiding in her poop but she hardly poops. Like one poop every 2 hours, and it's usually a small poop.

When I get back, I will feel her crop again and massage it. Whatever she has, do you think its fatal? Or will she recover? I really love Snooze, she is so friendly and jumps into your lap. It breaks my heart to see her this way.

I got home and massaged her crop again with a frozen chunk of coconut oil. Her crop got noticeably smaller, and she almost pooped on me. Finally she pooped, it was green and white. Maybe things are finally starting to move 🤞
Good deal! Just keep at it and try to keep her hydrated, you got this. Does she seem to be feeling better?

She has not pooped since the last post.. I also noticed that her comb is way paler then usual and it's kind of flopping.

I’m sorry she is still not feeling well. Sometimes I do hold my chickens’ crops up a bit to help them drain when I’m treating them for crop issues. Things might just really be moving slow for her. I don’t think a crop bra would hurt? But it might not be necessary. Has she had one before? It might stress her out having something foreign on her.

Have you been able to get some electrolytes into her?

Nope she has not had one before. I don't have one, I was just wondering if I could DIY one with a disposable mask.

Yes, I have been using hydrohen and I am giving her coconut water. Her crop feels like it got smaller but I will continue massaging it. She did poop another time around 3:40, but nothing since then. Do you think she can pass away from this?
