Help please

Hi, i am new to this (just3 weeks), everything is going well. But about 3 days ago the wild birds started hanging around with my chicken when they free range. How do I stop that? Or is it ok. The wild birds are sparrows and doves. Any ideas?

One thing Id do is make sure you keep ACV in the chickens water to help prevent coccidiosis. WIld birds are a common carrier for it. Id also keep CORID on hand to treat if you see any symptoms, like bloody poop, puffing up, listlessness, etc.

They will stand off by themselves with their feathers all puffed up and their heads tucked down. You will know it when you see it.

Yes, when they get ill you feel like it will never end. Don't give up though, it is still a fun and worthwhile hobby and always more to learn! Watch out for the wild birds stealing your chicken feed though haha.
