Help please!

I'm up to 4 and the first to hatch to be running all around the incubator. Should I be worried about trampling? Should I remove the chick to the brooder? It has fluffed.

What are you going to do with more than 30 chicks?

Are they all New Hampshire and Plymouth Rock?

Oh Sweetie, 30 chicks is nothing. There's a gal in Texas who has more than that in just one of her incubators! When I visited she had about 6 incubators running at the same time!

I can set 260 chicken eggs in my incubator. I don't usually do that unless it's spring. I always hatch upwards of 40 at a time at least. ;)

Final Tally. 34 Out Of 39 Hatched And Doing Well In The Brooder. There Are 13 Plymouth Rocks And 21 New Hampshire Reds.
For The Questions Above, My Wife And I Did It As A Lesson And Experience For Our 3 Year old. We Will Only Be Keeping 6-8 Hens. The Rest Will Be Going Back To The Farmer That Gave Us The Eggs. Although I Had Spoke To The Farmer And Let Him Know Our Interest In Doing It Again.
I Still Find It Amazing That A Chicken Grows From Essentially Goo And Yolk To A Chick In 21 Days. Incredible!

Wow, surprise hatch! 1 out of the 5 I believed to have died just hatched. That makes 35.
