How many toes does the little brown one have? I had a Game hen hatched 10 chicks that had a silkie father and they looked similar to that. Im just guessing that because of the dark beak and legs.

i think just 4 ... but i do see some feathering starting on the legs

ohhhhh how sad! I'd put poison right out for that drasted rat! and then leave him out where all the other rat relatives will see what happens to bad rats who kill baby chicks.Ugh! We've had them and keep killing them and now don't have much of a problem.(for now)
