1. have a bunch of young cochin's they are around 3 months old and I have a white Leghorn shes around the same age.i noticed a few days ago that the Leghorn's eye was swollen shut ( just 1 eye) and she sounded crackling when she would breath, so I put some antibiotics ointment on her eye, then the next day 1 of the cochin's also had 1 swollen eye and alil discharge from her nose, so I started them on Corid in the water so after 2 days they still haven't got any better and now i have 2 more cochin's with their eye swollen shut..idk what to do or what to give them. I have Corid and an antibiotic called Neomycin/Polymyxin eye cream, I also have Noromycin but idk how much to give them or even if I can.

Have you had them long or added any new birds recently? Corid is specific to treating coccidiosis. It sounds like they have a respiratory disease. You might want to bet them tested to find out which one. Your local state vet might help with that for a low cost. Is there any bad odor around their beaks? MG or mycoplasma and coryza can both cause a swollen eye, eye drainage, and other symptoms. Tylan or tylosin could help treat MG symptoms. Call local feed stores and ask if they have any Tylan 50 or 200 injectable. They have been scarce recently. You can order tylsoin powder for the water here:

Yes the have a foul smell.They we're all fine about 2 weeks ago and then I had to move them to my barn where I use to keep a milk cow I've never had any chickens in my barn before so idk if they picked up something or what.I had got the cochin's and Leghorn from McMurray Hatchery but I also have lavenders that I've raised..

Is the foul odor coming from the face or just a smelly odor overall, possiblyfrom the cow barn? Coryza is said to have a bad odor, and is more serious than MG. You need to get the testing to figure out whether it is MG or coryza. Try to find Tylan or order the tylosin powder and start treatment. Sulfa antibiotics may be helpful if it is coryza. Can I give them BAYTRIL if so what mg.its alot cheaper them the tylan and if I had the money I would definitely buy the tylan it says it's for dogs and cats though

Tylan is so expensive here can I use BAYTRIL 68.0 mg its for digs and cats.

I am not an expert, would wait for someone who knows more about using dog/cat medications. Personally I wouldn't unless you are sure it is tolerable to chickens.

Online says you can use on chickens and turkeys, but not laying hens.

Baytril is banned for chickens in the US due to antibiotic resistance that was happening. Some vets use it to treat very serious illnesses in chickens but it requires a long egg withdrawal time of at least a month. I would use the Tylan (tylosin powder) if possible posted in post 2, or try to get tested in case you need to use sulfa antibiotics for coryza. Did you read about the diseases in the link in post 4? You need to give the rught drug for the particular disease.
