*HELP* predator attack

what ive been recommended, which was snicker bars and or marshmallows. others have suggested tuna but we are all out. ive never had to kill one of ours and don't even know what id use at this point. Im beating myself up for not locking the coop before dinner when it was almost dark .. wish this hen was a healable attack since she was again one of my favorites. :he

She's still alive??? For crying out loud, end her suffering already. Got an ax? Hatchet? Knife? Pellet rifle? .22? Really anything will do.

I'm so sorry for you! This is absolutely awful, I'm sorry this happened. I would usually think there was a chance for her to survive, but her whole top beak is off. Her nasal cavity is exposed, I'm sure. There is no way for her to eat, and her condition is just going to get worse. The best thing you can do right now is to put her out of her misery, it's the most humane thing you can do for her. After that, I would focus on how you can fix your raccoon problem because I'm sure they'll try to come back for more eventually.

Oh my goodness. That poor girl. Please put her out of her misery. I am so so sorry you are dealing with this.
:hugs

I used to think raccoons were kinda cute. I don't anymore. I know they are just doing what they do, but dear God.
thanks even though its my fault for delaying tonights coop lock up. I seriously don't know what to use to end her suffering as ive got nothing.
