Regardless of fault here, I don't see an issue with using her corpse as bait. Agree with Sour — retribution, really.
I sure hope you dispatched her. Good luck with trapping and dispatching the predator, which, btw, will need to be dealt with as well.

Have you cleaned her up? Saline solution or just warm water to see how bad it is? If so, any new pics of wounds?

This is after just getting a little warm water over her still cant tell if theres an eye left on either side :/ id have to think there is on one sideor the other? either way shes a fighter as she survived coccidiosis as a young chick and now this.. which really does not help me knowing i got her back to health once but not so sure about again .
