I slaughter 8 birds on Sunday afternoon and put them in the frigerator to age. I went out this morning to bag and freeze them and the brine that I had them in was frozen. The refrigerator is in an out door building and with the outside temps dropping it must have caused it to freeze. Now what ??? I have a large canner with forzen brine and chicken. Can i thaw them and freeze them again. Or thraw enough to remove the birds and re freeze while they are somewhat frozen. Or cook/can? I would hate to lose all 8. Any suggestions? Thanks!
