So, my hen has just starting laying fertile eggs and will not sit on them, I Do not own an incubator, I need help, does anyone know how to get my hen to sit on her eggs or know how to build an incubator?

The hen won't sit unless she wants to, but if she gets a large clutch of eggs going she might. If she is from a hatchery or feed store she probably won't, it has been bred out of them. If she if a heritage or you hatched her yourself she has a higher chance of doing so. As for the incubator, it is safer and more efficient to buy one. Brinsea has some pretty high quality ones. I would recommend buying an incubator.

Letting her out with her rooster is fine. Try giving her some fake eggs to go with the fertile eggs and she might get more excited to lay. If she wants to sit she will, but if not I don't know what else you could do.

I got her from a friend that hatched her, she is a pet that lives in the house in a bin with her rooster, she gets 5 hours a day out of her bin with the rooster, can those be problems?
I don't think living inside in a bin is a very good life for a chicken. Living outside full time would make her much happier!

Agrees wholeheartedly....and not a good environment to be hatching chicks IMO.

she lives in a bin by choice, she lived in it when we first got her, and when ever we put her outside, she always finds a way back inside and gets in the bin
