So many of you know that my ducks just started to lay, which is exciting but sadly one of them has a prolapsed vent... is there anyway to treat this?

Can you post a pic or 2 sometimes if not too bad you can work it back in by using Prep h and gently pushing always a chance only a vet can do something like this because it may need a stitch or 2 to keep it inside.

Actually she laid an egg this morning which seemed kinda like a struggle so I helped her out and it all went back in by itself so...

Bad news, it popped back out and some of the tissue is dead so I cut it off and I think it's already infected :/ idk what to do, I cleaned it out and put some antibiotic creme on it but i don't know

Def try and get her to a vet they can get it back in and put a few stitches in to hold it in place till it heals. Be careful cutting not sure but it seems that would cause quite a bit of bleeding. Get her in a nice warm tub of water let her soak and clean up then put the antibiotic cream on her . Letting her soak in warm water may give you a chance to get it back in. Then place her in a darkened room in something where she will be quiet and possibly not try to lay another egg till you can get to a vet if that is feasible
