Help! Puppy got bantam

The honey acts in much the same way as Prep-H...it will shrink the tissue...plus honey is antibacterial. The prolapse is unlikely to go back in on its own without help from you...see how she is in the morning..she needs to rest right now...you can try pushing the prolapse in gently after you bathe her and apply more honey...don't lose heart over this..it can take time until she gets back to normal health...keep her isolated and in a darkened area...you can also offer her a tums...vitamin D3 calcium tablet...how old is she?

We got her as an adult to replace a roo we had to give away (city ordinance) so she's between 2-3. In the morning I'll bath her butt in an iodine wash and try again. If there was a poultry vet around, I'd take her in. We tried twice to get it to stay in and it would just come right back out. The second time is when it started bleeding when we tried. Is the bleeding normal?

Update: I think there was a broken egg in there because there is yolk hanging out this morning. But she's still active and I cleaned it again and added more honey, then at 3:00 she's going to the vet. I'm excited I found one nearby that will see chickens! I think with there being an egg in there, it's beyond the scope of my help, so we'll see if the vet can do anything at least.
