Help ! Quail chick food

My chicks are due to hatch Friday and due to shipping delays their food won't be here until possibly Wednesday . Can I give them anything else to start them off before their gambird starter food is here? I saw they can eat possibly ground oatmeal, mashed eggs, and yogurt ....? Only for a couple of days . Is that possible or do I have to find a place to buy food for them right away ?

You can just feed them regular chick starter if you have some. They don't have to have feed the first day but they'll be looking for it the second day. Finely chopped up boiled eggs will get them by for a couple days as well.
