Help quail have not hatched!!!!! (urgent)

Hi I have 5 coturnix quail eggs in the incubator right now. I candled all of them and they are fully developed today is the 19th day of incubation and no sign of external pip. I kept the incubator at a constant temperature of 37.9-38 degrees Celsius. I saw movement from 1 of the eggs on day 16 but never again. Please let me know what I can do to help them hatch. These were not shipped and were played by my own quails

Do you have a calibrated thermometer or three inside the incubator, or are you trusting the incubator's readings? Incubators lie.

It sounds like your temps were a bit low, and I would give them more time.

Can you post pics of the eggs you've candled?

Yeah I'm pretty sure my thermometer is lying of my incubator. how many more days do you think I have to wait

I heard that your not supposed to move them much during "lockdown" but ill take some pics when I get home

I thought the temp ur supposed to put was 37.9

Your incubator may say that it was 37.9, but I suspect it was lower than that. That's why I was asking about a calibrated thermometer inside the incubator.

I would give them up to day 21, but I would candle one or two of the eggs every day to look for life.

37.5 is the ideal temp, but 37.9 wouldn't cause any harm.

37.5°C is 99.5°F. 37.9°C is over 100.0°F
