i have peafowl eggs which hatch at 28 days like turkeys, if i refrigeratated them at day 25 and kept them in for 4 days would they hatch? i know it should be small side down, also would they need to be turned?

So the eggs have been incubated up to day 25? No they wont hatch. I know eggs stored in the frig BEFORE incubation/development that people have had them hatch, but that's risky because it could still damage the egg and none would develope. Why would you want to take it out on day 25? Ask yourself: if I had a baby peachick that was hatched out would it survive in the cold? No, because in the egg or not, it's a baby and they need the heat to survive. If it gets too cold it'll die. Maybe I'm confused by you question, but if you intend to hatch chicks, don't put an egg in the frig.

The chick inside the egg will freeze and die. The chicks even after normal hatch need to be maintained under heat -- about 90-95 F to start with and then reduce heat by 5 degrees every 10 days or so until they feather and be capable of containing their own body heat of 104 F.It may take 10-12 weeks to get them used to our summer atmosphere.

sorry maybe im phrasing this wrong, i dont want the eggs to hatch in the fridge obviously. what i was wondering is that if they have been in the incubator for around 20-22 days of incubation, and then i put them in the
refrigerator at 50 to sixty degrees farenheight, would they continue to develop after i put them back in the incubator 4 days later? ive never put eggs in the refrigerator before so i dont know, and the reason i need to do this is my parents have scheduled a family reunion on a cruise which they would be let down if i missed, although id prefer to stay with my eggs.
