I have golden pheasant eggs in the incubator. They're at day four.
I've read a couple posts on here that indicate higher humidity for pheasants than chickens. I just hatched out bantam chicks at around 35% humidity for the first 18 days and then 65 for the lockdown.
I'm trying to get higher humidity for the pheasant eggs but the Genesis is just not willing to go above around 36-40 with just the one tray filled. I don't want to go ahead and fill the other tray uless I have to...what should the humidity be for pheasants and does anyone else have this incubator?
I think the hygrometer is accurate.
