Help! Respritory Problem, and Don't Know What To Do!!

After treating with Tylan and there are still problems, you can wait I think 3 days and give them another round. Also consider Mycoplasma which it may well be. I have had this in my chickens and although I have used Tylan with good results, I also experimented with a prescription human product I had on hand and it worked better.
Google Mycoplasma in chickens and then look at the images.

Thank you so much!!!

Silver sulfadiazine. I actually put it in the roo's eye so it could get down into its sinuses and around the inside of its eyes! I thought for sure it would be blind but it isn't.

You put it in his eye thinking he would go blind? Maybe I'm reading that wrong.

I was not thinking it would, I was afraid it might as I didn't know for sure. I know what the drug is used for, but I could find no data on its affect on the eye. I had it for some necessary minor surgery that involved laser burns. I did not expect it to but at that point it came down to either try something or put it down. There were gobs as big as my thumb (not exaggerating!!) that could be expressed from the swollen areas near the tear duct that went back into the sinuses.
We don't have a vet that will see chickens. Calculated risk.
My husband and I are both biologists
