Quote: Not much you can do about it now. And it is not dumb- happens to everyone.
Staff is all around us all the time, so don't panic.
Clean and sanitize all the surfaces you may have touched like doorknobs, cupboard/fridge handles, sink knobs, clothing, tools, dishrags etc. Retrace your steps.
If you think it is a real issue, contact your Dr. he/she may want to treat it prophylactically, especially if anyone has immunity issues.

im gonna live in a plastic bubble from now on cause im so scared and traumatized lol but thanks. and all my family has Lyme Diesese. so that scares me since it is an auto immune diesease. maybe we should just go to the doctor and get treated.

we didnt know what it was until we got home & googled it. we just rinsed our hands and ate breakfast i know its REALLY dumb of us
Go to the health food store and buy a bottle of "Oil of Oregano" it has both antibiotic and anti viral properties. Take five drops UNDER your tongue twice a day if exposed to disease. If actually sick take one full dropper three times a day. Ive used it for years, and it knocks out colds and flu with in a day or two. Its a bit pricey though, one small bottle is around $30. But it does actually work

thank you! we have a local health food store, were on our way to go look for that! thanks!!!!!

Normally I wouldn't worry but with Lyme disease .. I would be giving everything you touch a good Clorox wipe rub down . And if you should start to show any signs of illness tell your Dr. that you had been handling the infected Roo. I hope you will all be a little more cautious in the future because of already being weaker .. Take care of your selves And Heal Fast ! Hopefully no added Harm will come for trying to help the Rooster : )

There is a woman on here that takes care of bumblefoot herself and has videos on how to do it on here. Very informative and doesn't look hard to do. Save you a vet bill!!! Wear gloves! Maybe if you search for bumblefoot video on here you can find it. i will look also. good luck!
