HELP!!!! ROOOSTER WITH BUMBLEFOOT HANDLED WITH BARE HANDS!

There is a woman on here that takes care of bumblefoot herself and has videos on how to do it on here. Very informative and doesn't look hard to do. Save you a vet bill!!! Wear gloves! Maybe if you search for bumblefoot video on here you can find it. i will look also. good luck!

You should never be handling chickens (birds of reptiles or any kind for that matter) or anything they touched and not wash your hands before doing anything else. Ever. Otherwise, you're perpetually risking salmonella infection.

Touching any infected material/surface and not washing your hands before eating....

no matter what the source. Get in the habit of washing your hands with soap and water, thoroughly, always after dealing with/handling livestock/animals.

If you haven't gotten sick by now, you're probably not going to, but you need to consider altering your personal hygiene habits to prevent any issues down the road.
