My chickens all fit in their roosts but If I get more I'm afraid there will be no roost room. Can/will they sleep in a nesting box? or on the floor? Theres plenty of room on the floor. ???????

Why don't you just add another roost? Are you sure your birds will have enough room in the coop if you get more? The general rule of thumb is 3 square feet per bird at least for large fowl. If you do have enough room, just put in another roost. You really don't want birds sleeping in the nest boxes :sick

Because its a triangular roof and the roosts are on top of the nesting boxes. In the picture is the little door on top of the left door. The little one is a door to the nesting boxes. Above the little door is the roosts inside. and on the right top is a little attic and thats where they lay. Get it? :) Thanks for commenting? sorry if its confusing!

Assuming you have enough overall room in the coop for more birds, I would find a way to add more roosts. You want to make sure that there's enough room for them to roost all at the same height, otherwise they will fight over who gets to roost higher!

I dont think I can fit one at the same height. But maybe lower.
