That is an Easter Egger. See the green legs, the muff (beard), and pea comb? All those together point to Easter Egger. EEs can generally be sexed by color. The irregular pattern and red on his wings are what point to cockerel.What type of bird is this? I'm thinking easter egger but not sure. I'm new to chickens so I'm learning as I go. Still sad it's probably a roosterI've lost 4 now in less than a months time. I bought out of "pullets" and so far 4 of 8 have turned out to be roosters! Upset!![]()
