Help sebright chick with leg injury!!!

I’ve got a two day old sebright chick which has yellow stuff which is hard above thE hock And body know what this could be he’s limping on it

Can the chick walk?
Is the joint swollen?

Yes he can walk but limps on it, the joint was swollen but seems to have gone down now

I would try soaking it and clean off the crust. See if you can tell if the crusty stuff is oozing out of the joint or where it's coming from.
