Hi everyone!! :frow I posted a few weeks back and now I'm posting again with some updated pictures. Hoping some of you experienced silkie owners could take another good guess at what I've got!

The two white silkies are about 13 weeks and the little partridge is 7 1/2 weeks old. (I know... too young to tell but figured it couldn't hurt to post her picture too.)

Thanks!! :thumbsup

So cute! I just love my silkies! I would be thinking that Willow is a girl, Juicebox a boy and Stormy most probably a boy.Good Luck!
Willow's comb isn't very big at all...but it's a little pink. Do females sometimes have pink combs? Her crest is very round and full which makes me think girl but the pink comb throws me off. With my luck I'll have all boys lol

generally silkies have dark combs regardless of sex. I can't recall seeing any pink on one unless they end up with with an off color comb.

It's easier to evaluate if the chicks are facing forward with crest held back to show entire extent of comb. Comb size and shape can give good clues about gender.

Oh good! So maybe the pinkness in the comb doesn't mean anything lol I will get a better pic of their combs today and post.

In my guess willow is a pullet and juice box (love the name) is a boy based on how in the pictures she’s more low to the ground while he is more upright. Behavior is a major sexing tool with silkies. I’m still trying to sex all eight of mine that are just a little older than stormy. I have black blue buff white and partridge. Wish I had a splash and a lavender. Good luck with your babies though!

Juicebox always stands taller! As if he has a very loooong neck. (My kids named him) I think you may be right. Good luck with your babies too! I'm hoping for at least two pullets bc from what I'm learning two males will throw my rooster to hen ratio way off. I'm allowed to have roosters, but I want a happy flock.
