I got 5 RIR’s and now they are about 3-4 weeks old now, and one started growing way faster than the others. His/her legs are noticeably thicker than the others. I was worried because his comb was pretty big at a young age and it looked like his waddle was coming in. He/ she could also be an older chick that got mixed in, I don’t really know. But if y’all can offer any advice, that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Too young. And for gender ID, photos with natural lighting work best. Artificial lighting and camera flashes can distort coloring.

Generally you need to wait until 5-6 weeks to see that comb get big and pink. Generally my suspicions will turn out right when I sense one is a rooster. Give it a few more weeks to be sure.
