Hi everyone,
First timer hatching so wanting to check what everyone thinks. I'm completely inexperienced in sexing but not liking the look of my rooster to hen ratio

. The white one is an australorp over an isa brown. Hatched 10 out of 12 eggs in an incubator and 1 rooster has already found a new home and a flock of his own. All are 7.5 weeks old now.
Thank you for your thoughts

(image below) Could the one in the middle at the back be a hen?

(image below) side shot of the one I am hoping is a hen

Thanks for looking :)

Could you post individual side pictures? I'm kind of getting mixed up with them here.

The one you are hoping is a pullet in the fifth picture is in fact looking like one. In the second picture, the chicken on the left of the white is a cockerel.

I don't think it's all that bad.....

The 7th one is probably a cockerel. the rest look like pullets. At 8ish weeks, I'd expect a LOT more comb and color in a cockerel.

that said, my experience is with US hatchery stock, for the most part. I'm not sure if your birds in Aussie land are maybe slower developing, not as production bred? If that's the case, you could have slower maturing cockerels that won't show up for a few more weeks.
