100% a cockerel. You don't get a comb like that on a seven week pullet. Also the coloring is male.

our Blue Ameraucana looks exactly like her minus the feathered feet. She's obviously mixed with a feathered foot of some type. The rounded feathers and long wing tips that go back to her butt strongly suggest pullet to me. Boys have shorter wing feathers.

Hi, I’m not sure if I have a cockerel or hen here— this one is 7 weeks old, the rooster in our mixed flock is a Black Copper Marans and hen was either an Easter egger or ameraucana (we have both). 1 1/2 years..she's now a hen.

That's why then. Females at/past POL will have bigger combs than a nine week old pullet.

Boys do NOT have shorter wing feathers. I tested this out myself. Only a specific cross will do this it seems. I have never tested it out on a specific cross, only on EEs, which are also mutts.
