Help! My chicken just laid a shell-less egg. I don’t want this to be a reccuring issue, so what do I do? Does she need more calcium? If so, how do I give them more calcium?

Yes, she does need more calcium. Oyster shells can help. If you have a rooster, don't give him any, it could be bad for his kidneys.

Maybe, but first, tell us:
What all and how exactly are you feeding?
How old is this bird, in months, and how long has she been laying?
Any other birds of same age having shelling issues?

And always good to know....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

She’s one year old, I feed them Dumor Organic Layer Pellets. This is the first time it has happened to any of my chickens, I have 4. I live in a warm, dry climate, with cold winters.
