Today is day 31 of incubation and none of the 4 eggs have pipped internally or externally. One of the eggs got a weird color on it so i decided to carefully break away at the air bubble and looked in to see it shrink wrapped. It’s still moving and i have added some coconut oil to the membrane it was completely dry on top. I don’t know if that’s normal. These are i think these are mallard ducks so its weird that it’s taking this long. Are the other ones shrink wrapped too? They are moving too and have been actively pushing against the membrane. What should I do??

Well definitely don’t be taking it out of the bator. Spray it with warm water and see if it helps. What has been your temp and humidity? If no progress is made then you might want to assist and slowly get some of the membrane off, taking breaks and stopping if you see blood.

I put some coconut oil on the membrane because it was white and very dry. Day 1-25 humidity was about 30-40% and then on day 25 I upped the humidity to 60-70% temp has been between 98-101 throughout incubation, I have a homeade incubator. I’m afraid my other 3 may be shrink wrapped too:( should i help them too? They are all moving when I candle them.
