HELP SICK BIRD!

@OrpingtonManiac @GodLovesU @CCsGarden i got a poop picture because she was in a crate. She pooped twice in 3 hours. Normal?!?

I can’t hear too much (I’m in a loud room), but how is her posture? That can help determine if she’s egg-bound.
She is standing weirdly and like she is butt heavy. I did not feel anything. Is there anything I can do to help her if she is egg bound? SHE HAS NOT LAYED HER FIRST EGG YET!!!

Also since she pooped does that mean she is not egg bound?
Do your chickens have access to oyster shell? Now that they are laying, and she should be near point of lay, they will need calcium with the all flock, or layer feed. Her poop looks normal. You could try popping a 600 mg calcium tablet in her beak. She should swallow it.

Yep she does! She should know where they are. I will try and get a calcium tablet. Do you think it’s a sickness or is it something to do with the egg? She is talking to me and has a normal comb. She just is lazy and walks with butt down!

Calcium citrate with D3.
Other than her stance, she is walking around and eating. Not sure what to make of it. Has her tail always been down? Sometimes when they really don't feel good, they just stand around, fluffed up or head pulled in, and don't even respond to favorite treats. I've not had any pullets get sick before. I did have one that genetically had her tail down with nothing amiss.
