You gotta get rid of those mites. If they're visible she must be terribly infested and that makes a bird anemic and will kill the bird. Get some Sevin down at the hardware store and sprinkle that all over her. Lift the feathers and lightly powder. Get it everywhere except the eyes and face. Massage it in. Plan on repeating it every week for another week or two. When you return her to the flock your going to want to treat all the chickens and the chicken house with that. Start getting the duramycin going. Use a dropper if you have to. Don't force it just drip it on top of her beak.
