Help! Sick chicken

Oh. Well then, I hope we can rule off any egg-related problems, because now looking back, she was cooped up in a cardboard box most of the afternoon without any water. So hopefully it was only thirst that caused that poop.:fl

On the bright side, after I let her outside to eat and drink, and she ate a fair amount, and seemed energetic enough...

Most wormers such as Valbazen have a 14 day egg withdrawal time. If you repeat the dosage in 10 days, that would be a 24 day period to toss eggs. As for antibiotics, most are not approved in egg layers, but some do use them for reproductive disorders if you don’t plan to eat the eggs or meat. However, if she is having crop problems, antibiotics probably should not be used, since it could cause sour crop. Can you see a vet?

Today she's much better. She doesn't seem too lethargic today, her poop is decent, and she doesn't have crop problems. I guess I'll just keep a closer eye on her for the next week or so until she gets better.

My 5 yr-old RIR hen has had an impacted crop two days ago, and it has gone, but these days she's normally energetic in the morning but is tired at noon and the afternoon (she lays down a lot like she's uncomfortable), so I bring her in when she's tired.

She is not normally this tired. She has no physical injuries and I can't hear any wheezing in her breath. I don't know what's going on with her!
Just came back from avian dr with my Bertha, same symptoms, havw her lasic for water retention. Heart problem, we will see if prescription worked.
