Help! Sick hen

My rooster has snot dried up on his nose and is a fowl smell how do I fix it and he also getts puffed up and is weasing so seperated him what do I do???
 
I brought her inside and have given her water with a syringe. Her crop wasn't completely flat this morning, but was better than it's been the past couple days. I haven't ever tube fed - thanks for the link I'll check it out. Thanks so much for your help!

First go to FORUM, then drop down to RAISING BACKYARD CHICKENS, then drop down to EMERGENCIES, DISEASES, ect, and click on it. In the upper left top of page you will see POST A REPLY or START A NEW THREAD--click on that.
