Help! Sick peachicks

Wal-Mart and Target both sell food scales.

We weighed them earlier They are 4 ounces. For Cipro I only have 500mg tablets I would need to dissolve and break down. I did this for my full grown hen a couple years ago and she did great on Cipro.
These chicks are not getting any better on the med I am giving them. They are getting 1/2 of a 20 mg tablet Dissolved and by mouth. Photo attached of the med they are on. Thank you so much

We used a hanging scale that weighs ounces. My husband is a smelter. I put each chick in a baggie.
I took them from mom tonight in the barn under a heat lamp they are even more conf when they try to sleep.

Is there any way to clear the congestion for temporary relief? Vick’s for birds, an essence oil... They are so sleepy and can’t get rest. I’m afraid they will drown in their sleep

If you are 100% sure that they weigh 114 grams each then you can take one 500 mg cipro, crush it really well, add 10 ml (two teaspoons) distilled water and give 0.1 ml (1/10 th of 1 ml) twice a day. Do you have 1 ml syringes? Do you have distilled water?

Oh Thank you so much! Yes I have a 1 ml syringe and I also have distilled water I just bought last week. This should be administered down the esophagus, correct? They are so small this is the part that scares me. But yes the 1ml syringe is very narrow. Thank you

Such a small amount at 1/10 of 1 ml I can put at the tip of their beak. That would probably be better don’t you agree?

Yes! I agree! Thank you so much! If it takes me all night sip by sip we will get this. Thank you so much for all your help! I feel so much better using Cipro!
