Doc said bacterial infection. He got sub q fluids and a shot of Baytril. Getting meds now.
He did not send off anything. I have a microscope too. I am hoping for a big improvement with the antibiotics. Here's a picture of him at the vets.
I also noticed while he was there that he has bugs.Is poultry dust good enough for that?? I was going to give him a few days to get stronger first. I have seven dust at home if that is OK??
Maybe lice. They don't look like little spiders, so I am guessing not mites. They are tan in color.

I just read somewhere that Sevin Dust is no longer "approved" for use in poultry, but I'm sure he'd feel better if he were bug free. If he were mine, I would dust him with the poultry dust that they sell at TSC.
FWIW, whenever I have one that's sick, dusting and worming are done right after a thorough exam.
