I thought it was 5 days. I will pick up more tomorrow. I thought one pill was enough. 
So  a 250mg pill x2 a day????

Let's just pretend that he weighs 4.2kg.... If you go by the AAAP Disease Manual, 1/2 a pill once day for 5 days would be enough. So if you're giving a 250mg pill in the morning and one at night, he's getting 60mg/kg twice a day.

Going for a few days longer is something I would consider if mine were not back to normal after 5 days of treatment. Remember, secondary infections, like E. Coli, fungal and coccidiosis are very common in a bird with blackhead. Could you try talking to your vet about your options? Maybe you could have them check a stool sample for you?

Is there anyway you could post a picture of his poop?

I will post some poop pictures this weekend. I saw the most improvement with 250mg twice a day, so that is what I am going to do.
I have enough for another 6 days. I really expect improvement way before then. I am at work now, as soon as I get home, he will be medicated again. It I need more metro, I will get more. Thanks for all the help. I will keep everyone posted.

I think your plan sounds good. Just remember that if he's not drinking enough, he will get to the point where giving fluids orally won't work and he'll need subcutaneous fluids. I'll try to find the article on hydration for you.

How is he today?

I hand fed about 1/2 scrambled egg. I picked up more meds from the vet. I think he needs fluids. He does not seen as uncomfortable. If there is not noticeable improvement by Monday, I will take him to the vet.
