Help sick pullet

I just looked up duramycin 10 and learned that it is for respiratory illness. Do any of your hens have any signs of respiratory illness such as gasping, runny nose or eyes, rattling or wheezing when breathing, etc? Otherwise, I don't think it will help her if she has something egg or crop related. I could be wrong though. I'm no expert. I do know if she broke an egg inside her she would need a very strong antibiotic like baytril and, even then, she may still die. How is she acting today. If she has perotinitis, she would probably be acting really really sick unless it just started. Let's just hope it's something simple and she'll get over it! I wish to heck somebody else would chime in here!!!!!

Thank you for trying and responding. She still isn't right. I checked her again and moved her back into the garage. She keeps like clicking her beek like she has a bad taste in her mouth? Then she rubs her beek side to side on the floor like to sharpen it. I have not seen any others doing this? Her crop is not as big as yesterday. But I know she is not feeling well.
All the others run for bread and I haven't seen her eat or drink. I am going to town to get un-sweetened applesauce and maybe a different antibiotic.

That sounds like an important clue!! I wonder if she has something stuck in her throat. Post a new thread and make it sound urgent like...Desperate Hen or something like that. Hopefully, somebody with expertise will chime in. Also, you can go to the original BYC (yes, this is not the original) where a few of the old timers still hang out. Just about everybody there is very very knowledgeable and helpful. The website address is www.backyardchickens.yuku.com Guess you'd have to join to post.

MARSON2,
I realize this was several years ago though this is happening to my girl...any words of wisdom? She certainly has egg peritonitis, same behaviors and clicking of the beek. No one else has responded to my plea...any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!
