HELP!! Sick Roo!

My rooster has noisy breathing. It sounds like he has mucus deep in his lungs, like a person with a cold.
No runny nose.
He drinks and eats lots.
He is active and responds to people. He is a little less active than usual though.
I have him inside with food and water.
I am very worried though, he is my FAVOURITE bird!!! He has been inside since last night, this was posted on December 19th.
Please help! I love him so much!

I'm at an exotic bird vet right now for my roo. I hope someone helps you out. I haven't gotten any responses so I came here. If you look at my post I have a video. Sounds different than how you describe yours. They did an x ray and my Jersey has a clear esophagus so they're giving him fluids and an antibiotic. I'll let you know if any of that works. keep me posted on your roo, please! I'm sorry I don't have any answers. Just to keep him warm, out of any drafts, away from the other chickens and make sure he's eating and drinking. I'll be giving jersey boy a liquid diet via a syringe so he gets both food and water. The noisy breathing can be a sign of a respiratory disease such as MG, coryza, or ILT. Also, if he is having any crop problems, he could have some of the crop contents in his throat causing the sound. Have you looked inside his throat with a flashlight while someone is holding his, just in case he has something partially blocking his throat such as a piece of food or foreign object? Have youj had any birds in the past with a respiratory disease or fowl pox in the mouth? Or have you added any new bird to the flock recently?

I have a sick hen with very noisy, gaspy breaths. Ive had chickens 2 years and this is my first sicknone and i am heartsick. What can i do for her?

Icabode (the roo) is all better now!
He just needed warmth, and to be away from the others. I am sooo happy he's OK! He returned to the other chickens.
No bad voice or anything!
