I have 5 turkeys in a 12x16' run in the same area we free range chickens and guinea fowl. In just one day one of our turkeys looks like this. The other turkeys are beating up on him flat out so to sure if this is sickness or bullying but his neck and head is very very swollen and red. I have also noticed one chicken with rattle breathing and a drop in my chicken egg production though not sure they are related.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

That could be from being beaten up but it could also be from a disease. I highly recommend that you separate him from the others immediately. If it is simply from being beaten he needs away from the others in order to heal. If it is a disease he needs to be separated from the others in the hopes that the disease does not spread.

Perhaps @casportpony will chime in.

Wow, poor guy. Looks like he might have "swollen head syndrome" or (TRT). Google both (I know very little about these diseases), and Isolate him ASAP. I might have just said he was being beat up, but I think I saw eye bubbles in one picture, so my money is on a respiratory infection. Might be viral, bacterial, or both. Can you consult a vet?

We had no choice but to cull him. Could not figure out if it was bullying or disease and after 24 hours his whole head turned very dark and was dragging. The good news is 3 days later I can't seem to find any sickness with the rest of my flock. Fingers crossed. Thanks to the community for the help!
