I think that its a pullet one of mine likes to peck my feet as i walk i scoot it out of my way with my foot. Silkies are mean!!

As far as a silkie laying I would not even think about one laying before 7 mths. They are very slow to mature. Either way I don't think you have to worry about this one ever laying it sure looks like a he.

I really don't know I do know that Diamonds (white silkie) little Roo Boys started at round about 5 months or so. I really think she is a boy but hope that I'm wrong!
