Help...silver leghorn roo or hen?

Definitely a cockerel. A pullet would have very different feathering, much lighter in colour with a golden breast.

Look up some pictures of Silver Leghorn roosters and Silver Leghorn hens. You will see that the males and females look very different.
 
Actually when I googled pictures most were of full grown birds. There were barely any of young ones and the pictures I found were mixed breed birds. I really wasn't sure. Then this morning when I went out I saw my older bird crowing (always assumed was a hen and still may be) so I think he hasn't started crowing yet. I have someone who will take him but I was starting to doubt if he actually was a roo. Thank you for all the input. I have never owned this breed before and he was the only one I got in my mix.

The coloring differences are visible as soon as the chest feathers start coming in.
