HELP! snow blowing in the COOP

so I am in MA and we are in the middle of a blizzard. My chickens chose to stay inside the coop today but we are having wind gusts of up to 50mph and the snow is blowing in the coop from my peak vents. I have an overhang above it but it isn't stopping it from blowing in. It is covering their roost and even blowing on the floor...... (going to try to find a pic of what my coop looks like so you can see where it is blowing in). I have other vents should I put up plastic over the one above their roost? I don't want to block off any ventilation but I also don't want their roost covered in snow......
Funny I posted the same question. I’m in Rhode Island. That Blizzard was intense! I think the high winds in all directions revealed a few more things that needs to be added to keep vents open but have more protection. If you look under me there’s some great advice. I m going to do the awnings that a member did on their coop
Let’s hope we are done with Blizzards and extreme wind this year

It was definitely intense! I have an overhang over the peak vent that the snow was blowing in. I think we are just going to put a board across that to block it from being able to blow straight in. It would have to blow up and under it to blow in. I just put plastic over it for now and that worked and the humidity seems about the same that it was before so that is good.
